![]() I’m going to try my best to recap it without spoiling the book. I’m not a fan of urban fantasy books but I just had to see how Nora Roberts would cope outside her comfort zone. ![]() Needless to say but I was surprised when I found out it wasn’t even a romance(shocked face emoji). So there I was going my merry way and reading my ‘deep and insightful’ books when I stumbled across the blurb for Nora Roberts’ Year One. I eventually outgrew that phase (thank God) and forgot all about Nora Roberts. To me, Nora Roberts is equivalent to huddling under the bed covers and reading forbidden books with the dim lights of bedside lamps. Whenever I think of Nora Roberts, I immediately go back to my secondary school years when I went through my romance books phase. Year One is not for the faint of heart what with the characters dropping like flies and the background chaos. ![]() ![]() I know! We should kill him off!’ thing they have going on). Finally, I have found the Game of Thrones of books(you know the whole ‘hey, everyone loves this character. There’s only one word to describe this book. ![]()
